U-Flexi packages can be purchased in-store or over-the-phone. Your U-Flexi package must be purchased and paid in full at the time of paying the deposit for your booking. U-Flexi cannot be added or upgraded once the booking has been issued or ticketed. U-Flexi packages are non-refundable for changes of mind or cancellation by you (subject to your refund and remedy rights under the Australian Consumer Law). Price Drop Protection™


If the price of your airfare (for flights originating in/departing from Australia), tour, accommodation or cruise purchased in conjunction with a U-Flexi package (Protect or Ultimate) falls below your purchase price, we will refund you the difference via a Universal Traveller voucher. Price Drop Protection may only be claimed once per U-Flexi package purchased up to a maximum Price Drop Protection claim value of AUD$1,000. Price Drop Protection applies to genuine fares/prices from Australian based registered businesses and websites (with an ABN) for flights originating in/departing from Australia, tours, accommodation and cruises. To qualify for a Price Drop Protection claim the airfare (for flights originating in/departing from Australia), tour, accommodation or cruise price must be from an Australian based registered businesses or website (with an ABN), in writing, in AUD, presented to us prior to booking and within 24 hours of you getting the price and must be for the same form of payment. The price must be available and able to be booked by the general public when you make the Price Drop Protection claim. Prices available due to membership of a group or corporate entity or subscription to a closed group are excluded. Price must be: for flights – for the same carrier, dates, flight routing, flight class, flight number and for the same number of people; for tours – for the same tour company/operator, dates, departure, tour and inclusions; for accommodation – for the same property, dates, room type/category and inclusions; and for cruise – for the same cruise company/operator, dates, cabin type, and inclusions. Proof of eligibility for Student Flights fares must be supplied.

If the airfare (for flights originating in/departing from Australia), accommodation, cruise or tour price is less than your original U-Flexi package booking, we will issue a Universal Traveller voucher to you for the value of the difference. The Universal Traveller voucher can be redeemed and used towards new bookings only. If you wish to make a claim for Price Drop Protection prior to full payment for your booking, you must pay for your booking in full at the time of making your Price Drop Protection claim. Price Drop Protection Voucher


Limit of one voucher per booking. The voucher must be presented to a Universal Traveller consultant at the time of booking to redeem it. The voucher is valid on new bookings only. Universal Traveller‘s standard Gift Cards Terms and Conditions will apply to the voucher, but it will be valid for 12 months only from date of issue. The voucher may be redeemed in whole or part during the validity period. Where used in part, no change will be given and the remaining balance will be left on the voucher. Any unused balance may be used against future purchases, but will not be refunded or credited when the voucher expires. The voucher cannot be redeemed for cash, traveller's cheques, cash passports or any other form of currency nor used in conjunction with any other offer. Normal booking conditions apply. The voucher must be used in-store or over-the-phone and cannot be used for online purchases. Universal Traveller reserves the right to deem the voucher void if it has been tampered with or copied.


Accommodation/Tour/Cruise Credit


Accommodation/Tour/Cruise credits are included in the U-Flexi Ultimate package only and are per person. Accommodation/Tour/Cruise credits can only be used through Universal Traveller preferred product for accommodation, tours or cruise on the same booking as your U-Flexi Ultimate package. All Universal Traveller minimuum spend requirements below apply to accommodation, tours and cruise only (and do not include the cost of your U-Flexi Ultimate package flight/s). AUD$500 per person minimum spend applies for the AUD$100 per person Accommodation/Tour/Cruise credit included with the U-Flexi Ultimate package. The U-Flexi Protect package does not include an Accommodation/Tour/Cruise credit. Accommodation/Tour/Cruise credits cannot be redeemed online, and are not valid for use on another booking.


U-Flexi Ultimate package - unlimited date changes, no change or cancellation fees on selected Student Flights airfares


Unlimited date changes and no change fees are included with the U-Flexi Ultimate package for selected airlines selling Student Flights fares. These airlines are Virgin Australia, Emirates, Etihad, Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand and Malaysia Airlines. For these selected airfares, no fees will be incurred for date change, however any additional fare or tax increase will be charged (i.e. applicable if you are changing to a more expensive fare). Payments are in accordance with our standard payment terms and conditions. U-Flexi Ultimate packages cannot be purchased if any part of the Student Flights airfare is non changeable. To request a date change before your departure date, simply email your travel consultant to request the change. Cancellation fees will not be incurred where you have purchased the U-Flexi Ultimate package and cancel your booking before departure on selected airlines selling Student Flights fares. These airlines are Virgin Australia, Emirates, Etihad, Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand and Malaysia Airlines. To cancel your ticket, please contact your travel consultant a minimum 24 hours prior to your departure. If the relevant airline has changed their policy and only provides a travel credit we will only be able to process that travel credit not a refund.
